One of the characteristics that distinguish Axolight from its competitors is the creation of extra large designer lamps, not only on request but already coded in the catalog. The peculiarity of producing extra large designer lamps responds to the needs of the contract sector, engaged in evocative and eclectic projects, which require equally dynamic partners. Axolight, founded in 1996 on the outskirts of Venice, looks to the future with a specific interpretation of light design.
Among the extra large designer chandeliers we find Cloudy, the lighting suspension that dominates the space with its presence and diffuses a soft and comfortable light.
Designed by Dima Loginoff for Axolight, Cloudy is a real luminous sculpture, where five spherical elements of different sizes are wrapped in a semi-transparent elastic fabric, to form a cloud – Cloudy in fact – a daydream with a strong evocative power.
Much more than a large suspension lamp: Cloudy is the result of a careful study on the combination of volumes and homogeneous light diffusion, aimed at obtaining a balanced whole that plays on the asymmetrical arrangement of the parts.
Other extra-large lamps with a strong scenic impact are those of the U-Light collection, designed by Timo Ripatti for Axolight, available in bronze or anthracite colored versions. Lucky and iconic, U-Light is a graphic play of circular elements in aluminum, minimal and light, which fill ceilings and walls. Spokesperson of mastery and technical avant-garde, all models are equipped with a LED light source integrated into the structure that diffuses a soft dimmable white light. A new generous dimension – 180 cm in diameter – joins the U-Light family, able to characterize contract and hospitality environments with shape and light. A further confirmation of Axolight’s vocation and expertise in designing large pendant chandeliers for the world of design.
From the small table lamp to the large pendant lamp, the Axolight light collections lend themselves to furnishing any living environment with a lively and surprising taste, making use of an all-Italian craftsmanship and the most advanced technologies in the field of lighting.
